HTML Design Techniques for Search Engine Optimization!

Get More Traffic - Alright, everyone who has a web site on the Internet wants more traffic to their domain for the very same reason, "TRAFFIC = MONEY!"

When it comes to getting traffic from the search engines, nothing is more important than the design and content of your web site.

Why you might ask, well consider this, Most top search engine have a ranking system that will yield higher results for content and links. BUT, to keep your users coming back your site must make good use of your content in an easy to follow format that will not only keep your customers happy, it will also have to allow the crawlers to visit each and every page on your site.
1.)Get the most out of your web pages with great html design and formating. Keep It Simple - I know, a lot of people use one or two long pages in an effort user to raise the amount of content provided for the search engines.

We believe that this not only bores your readers, it also takes to long for your pages to load with older dial up accounts. If I have to wait more that 5 seconds for a page to load, I usually close it before ever viewing the content.

2.)Build you traffic through the extensive use of themed links pointing towards your web site. Use Meta Tags! - Doesn't matter with engines like Google, but a lot of the older crawlers such as AltaVista use them extensively. Plus, if you use tables with out meta tags, these engines can and probably will get the wrong description for your web site. NOT GOOD to say the least.

3.)Search Engine Optimization for Dummies. You must load your pages, images, comments, etc. with keywords that are relevant to the website you are promoting. NO Cloaking! - Don't Do It! It's just not worth the possibility of having your web site banned from an engine.
